Inkgenius is a e-bootcamp created out of necessity. We, the founders, hadn't understood the demands of the UK's examination system, particularly for entrance to private schools and grammar schools.

We were parents of young children, with six months to go to the 7 plus exam, and we realised that we were not ready. We simply had no idea how this educational system worked and so hadn't engaged the right resources at the right time.

The parents who succeed, seem to have planned for that outcome from an extraordinarily young age. We hadn't.

And so necessity (and urgency) was indeed the mother of invention.

Being able to write and also to code, we designed software that would accelerate our son's creative writing skills by applying the latest learning techniques. We carried out three years' work in a few months, and succeeded.

Along the way we realised that the current methods for learning creative writing were incredibly inefficient, and could be dramatically speeded up using technologies and contemporary learning know-how.

Today, a few years later, our children are keen writers - perhaps the greatest reward from this process.

We have spent time refining that first prototype to create a programme that we hope can achieve the same results for others.

Join us on the journey to create a world of enthusiastic writers, who in turn may become extraordinary thinkers.

“You can make anything by writing.”
